Cologne-based sound artist, writer and journalist Nils Quak presents the first of two albums this summer for Nomadic Kids Republic. As NQ he's already released albums on Progressive Form, Kitty-Yo and Neo Ouija. More recently he's been working as Nils Quak for recordings on the Audiobulb and Clothbound labels, honing the expansive yet intimate sound of 'Long Forgotten Days Under A Dust Covered Sky'. His music takes shape as dusty micro-sounds dispersed in cloudy ambience, using a rich palette of field recordings an synthesized sound to delicately texture his scenes with a gauzy, indistinct clarity.
