Cubase Studio 5 from Steinberg is an audio/MIDI editor/recorder software program tailored to project studios and creative musicians. Built around the same core technologies as Steinberg's Cubase 5 with a slightly reduced feature set, the software still offers highly professional tools for composition, recording, editing and mixing.

The software is easy to use with virtually any audio interface that support ASIO or Core Audio and provides efficient functioning while helping deliver superior audio performance. Over 40 plug-ins provide huge sonic manipulation opportunities along with 3 integrated Virtual Instruments.

HALion One adds powerful sample playback synthesis, while Prologue is a rich-sounding virtual analog synthesizer.
