After two years and two months since February 2008, Esprit Records has delivered 26 releases. That is one per month on average. After two various artists compilations called Nu Esprit EP vol.1 & 2, we proudly present our first digital album! Nu Esprit is a dnb compilation album featuring ten tracks from nine various artists, all of whom have had music released on Esprit label before.
First track in the row is possibly the most optimistic tune on the whole album, Neopsy – Summer Sunday. Neopsy is a dnb collaboration project of two Czech producers Psyek and Negone. Summer Sunday rules with its summer disco vibe, original vocals and a real bassquitar sounds.
Then Probos steps in with his second track on Esprit Records (the first one was Still Night on Nu Esprit EP in 2008) called I'll Fly Away. it's a straightforward dnb roller and we are happy to get another tune from Probos, partly because Moscowboy Probos has been quiet lately.
Dephzac shows his advanced production skills in 3rd track. We Are Together is not a signature Goro & Dephzac's neurofunk production, it's a vocal liquid and it's good. Dephzac got signed to Fokuz Recordings recently and he's been doing stirs with his newly established label Deph Records too. His talent combined with hard work bring fresh fruit, this time liquid fruit in We Are Together.
Next our latest Esprit Records signing Tellex shows up with two mellow dnb songs. Tellex is a Soundia Gardner's survivor and he's the only producer who gets more than one track on the Nu Esprit album as well. Look for Simply and Free Your Mind.
Two established dnb names Dirrrty B and Wreckage Machinery submit one track each, expect their signature liquid sound in Offkey and Side Roads.
The very first music release on Esprit back in February 2008 was from Wenca and his music is featured in the album too, deep/jump-up hybrid entitled Look In Your Eyes. Looking in your eyes is a vocal sample used in the track. If you are hungry for more of Wenca's music, check out his releases on VodkaRedbull Records, he did few free tracks and remixes over the last couple of years too. Wenca won Czech DnB Awards 2009 for the best track – congratulations!
9th track on Nu Esprit album is a deep and melodic dnb Fade To Black from Esprit Record's man in charge. Zoom produces dubstep nowadays, he makes dnb only ocassionally when he's got an inspiration. Fade To Black is a slow dnb (166 BPM) track, this music is inspired by the likes of Alix Perez or Commix.
The Square gets the last word with the liquid roller Everything Disappears – beautifully crafted beats, bass, synths, melody and vocals of this tune finish Nu Esprit album. We hope you will like it and enjoy Nu Esprit's positive spring atmosphere as we do.
